Electrical technicians help create and/or install the electronic components and equipment used in any equipment or device that involves electricity
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install electromechanical and electronic parts of machinery and equipment
• Test solid-state circuitry to determine defective components in analog and digital equipment along with defective parts replacement.
• Install improvements and major upgrades to electrical equipment
• Repair and replace defective components in motors, generators, controllers, storage batteries, switchboards, conductors, switches and varied electrical fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams
• Plan and prepare work orders or instructions utilizing blueprints, sketches and drawings
• Ensure accurate and apt completion of all protective maintenance duties

- Perform defensive repair for electronic and electrical systems, equipment and devices.

JOB SUMMARY:
General Assembly Technicians produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies into a final functioning machine. This position requires a HB2-Second Class Hydraulic Boom License.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts list. Gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, notifying supervisor and engineering to obtain additional resources.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventing maintenance requirements.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
